Pusa Paddy rates have risen and large quantities have been sold by stockists at $300/-. Out of old stocks only Raw Basmati is available. All new crop rice are available. Prices are more or less as expected. Other
than from U.P. arrivals of Paddy is now over. Saudi buyers are bidding
$600/- CNF, for Parboiled Basmati 70%b/30%p but there are no sellers
at this price. Other than Basmati, prices of all varieties have
risen.
Saudi buyers have already started showing interest in buying and are expected to buy in large quantities soon. As the prices are still low, now is the correct time to buy
